For the third year in a row, Bahira performed with Indigenous at the fantastic Santa Clara Art & Wine Festival 2009 on the Meadow Stage. On Saturday Indigenous performed its Mytho-Poetic Belly Dance with a
medley of Mysterious Gothic style of dances to popular, fusion and Arabic
music including a tribute to Michael Jackson. Photos by Dave and

Sevanti (in turquoise) flew in from Boise, Idaho, to perform with the troupe
Shiva performed a solo to Freak Factory's "Moon Mind" and then Fara'Asha and
Bahira entered with swords for a Duet to "Aazab":

The Santa Clara Art & Wine Festival happens every summer in
September and is free to the public. It has the best showing of
artists, musicians and crafts people in the South Bay Area. Food,
Libations, Art, Music, Entertainment and Fresh Air are all combined in the
lovely Central Park of Santa Clara at 909 Kiely Street. We hope to see
you there again next year!
