The pattern on this fabric is modern, but the chrysanthemum starburst works well as a tribal pattern with the richness of the raised chenille texture complimenting the giant chenille hand-made tassels.

A matching bra top was made for Shiva from the remaining fabric piece and trims.  Shiva provided the bra base and within 2 days Bahira completed this set. 

Shiva will perform in this costume with Troupe Nambah and Friends at the Santa Clara Art and Wine 2008 on September 14.
