The Insta-Turban

An Original Creation By Bahira
Bahira needed an easy way to create a turbaned look when she was performing with the Afro-Belly group, Kekuja. She came up with the idea of the Insta-Turban which turns any 24-inch square of cloth into a turban  like headdress with a minimum of effort.

Pins, chains, ropes, tassels, flowers, feathers and jewelry can all be added to the Insta-Turban after it is wrapped to give that American Tribal, Indian or African look.

It is comfortable to wear and, due to its elastic construction, fits all size heads. It can be worn low on the forehead for a more Medieval look or pushed back for a more tribal look.
